I applied online. I interviewed at Panda Express in Mar 2020
Interview
5 different panel interviews in 5 weeks. The District Manager would not tell me what position I was interviewing for. He claimed whatever one he felt like putting me in....I reached out the recruiter to see if she had any information....nothing! This is the strangest interview process I have ever gone through. I was then ghosted for a week. The recruited claimed I was the best they could find so maybe they would give me the opportunity but they where unsure of my competence.
After weeks of waiting they came back with a low ball insulting offer.. This was a terrible experience...one step above interrogation.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panda Express (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Pretty simple interview process. I was asked the basic questions about what i know about a work environment. Also how important it is to have a positive attitude at restaurants like this. It was a very quick process that I worried too much about.

Question 1
Describe your previous work experience, and what did you not like about it?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panda Express (La Verne, CA)
Interview
One interview with the manager then one interview with the district supervisor. They both assed similar questions. The overall experience was not too difficult. I felt lucky having an interview with a very young manager before she changed locations. The newer manager at my location was hard to understand and treated the employees unfairly.
