I applied online. I interviewed at Panda Express (Colorado Springs, CO) in Jan 2015
Interview
You run around Panda Express, learning how to fry rice and handle toothpicks. If you can do this well, you are "coachable." It's very fine-tuned process. "The way you do anything is the way you do everything." - Overly cynical management culture
I applied online. I interviewed at Panda Express (Stockton, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
They had open interviews, so there were a few of us sitting in a corner. Dressing formal didn't matter. Manager called us to a table 10 feet away to interview us one at a time.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Panda Express (Independence, MO) in Sep 2017
Interview
Interview location was 40 minutes away from the location I applied to. Interview was with 4 women all at once. One was friendly, two were just kinda quiet, and another was somewhat unfriendly. It was uncomfortable. They asked so many questions. Expect it to feel like you are interviewing for an important career type of job and not just a mall food court position. They ask you to explain yourself a lot and the blonde woman almost seems like she wants to trip you up by backing you into corners with her questions. Honestly if I knew how intense the interview would be I don't think I would have applied.
Pretend that I'm the customer and you're working, how would you sign me up for a loyalty plan even if i say I'm not interested? How do you upsale things?
