I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at OpenTable
Interview
I was referred by someone within the company (OT is big on employee referrals), and someone followed up with me within two days of my resume submission. I had a phone interview with a recruiter for 45 minutes, during which we went over preliminary details about me and the job (normal screening) and then we scheduled an in person interview for the following week. The interview scheduling and confirmation were both clear and quick, which was great. I was greeted with 5 minutes of my arrival to the office, and then I interviewed for about 40 minutes with three people who were relevant to the position. I heard back right after my interview, and was followed up with the next day as well. Overall it was a very pleasant process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at OpenTable in Oct 2014
Interview
We connected through recruiters. Engineer doing the technical screen seemed tired on the phone, and not that enthusiastic about the company. I decided not to continue the process after getting several different emails from various people with the company late at night. It seems pretty clear they don't expect their employees' personal time if they are all working after 8pm and on the weekends.

Question 1
Describe how inheritance works in object-oriented programming.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenTable (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2012
Interview
Phone interview and in person interview in SF. Met with executive sales managers who were relaxed and asked questions to see the fit. After a week I received an offer via phone. It was a smooth process. The company doesn't follow typical interview process. They look at the past work experience in the restaurant industry either in the capacity of sales or operations.
