The product seems interesting, but the HR person complained about their work and didn't know how to answer basic questions about the team during the interview. I got a generic rejection a few weeks later.

past experience, state management, explain a solution
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenTable (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process was well-structured and organized from start to finish. I first had an initial call with the recruiter to review my experience and the role expectations. This was followed by multiple interviews with different members of the team, where each conversation built on the last and gave me a clear understanding of the position, team structure, and company culture. Communication throughout was excellent, and expectations were always clear. Overall, the process was smooth, respectful, and engaging.
Efficient organisation of interview and benefits explained well in the introduction but interviewer didn’t seem engaged in my answers and I got a rejection quite quickly after as though they had someone lined up already.
