I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OpenTable (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
I applied online and got a recruiter interview setup within the week. Spoke only with the recruiter, I got enough information that deterred me from continuing the interview process. The base was an absolute joke $65-$75k, that's not even close to being market rate for a field AE.

Have you traveled for work. Are you comfortable with 100% prospecting
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OpenTable in Jul 2021
Interview
The interview process for me was short as we decided the pay was not a good match.
I will say they were incredibly fast in responding to my application and set up an interview for the same week.
The interview was standard - tell me more about your background and why you applied to OpenTable? What skills can you bring to the team?
I was shocked to hear that the salary for an Account Executive in Washington DC was a maximum offer of $50K/year. When I did research on the role on Glassdoor many reported base salaries of up to $62K/yr which is much more aligned with what I expected to start off with given my restaurant experience. I respectfully declined to continue the interview process as the base pay was too much of a pay cut to legitimize moving companies.

Question 1
Q: Why did you decide to apply to OpenTable?
Q: What previous skills make you a good fit for this role?
Q: Do you have any experience selling to restaurants in the DC market? Were these large restaurant groups, or small businesses?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at OpenTable (Londres, Angleterre) in Mar 2019
Interview
I shared my CV with them through LinkedIn and received an invite for a phone interview a couple of days later. The interviewer sat in the US, so the interview time was convenient for me to have it scheduled for after work. The phone interview went really well, everything was super positive and the lady enthusiastically said she will forward my application to the team in London. After that I was ghosted for weeks and when I followed up, the communication was very slow. After nearly 2 months of me chasing, the US lady emailed me shortly they do not progress with my application. No explanation or apologies. Needless to say the job is stil advertised. Unprofessional, but having worked at Kayak before it didn't really come as a surprise.
