Got reached out to by a recruiter who set up a phone call to discuss the position. After that an algorithm round was established, and then a systems round. The algorithm round was quite standard and not too hard, but the topics that were recommended to study for the systems round were much too broad as in actuality, the interviewer focused on asking very small specifics that were impossible to study for given the time span.
Other than that, the recruiter was very friendly and the process was very fast, but the process was disappointing at the end.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Meta in Sep 2017
Interview
10 minute interview with a Facebook interview, asked me about my programming experience and when I would be graduating. Projects that I've worked on. It was very short not difficult, but also a bit misleading they said on their application page that the internship was a minimum of 3 months. When it was actually a max of 3 months
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta in Aug 2017
Interview
The process is quiet long. First I apply online, a few weeks later I received an email from HR saying that my profile match an open position. This was for Production Engineer position. I was asked to answer some basic questions about me.
After that, I did a online test on networks, linux OS, etc... I would say that this are basic questions, but some of them are not so easy. 18 questions => 20 minutes.
The first interview was a phone interview with a HR (very kind). This was just to confirm some part of my CV and speak a little about me. Honestly, the interviewer spoke more than me and presented me the next two steps.
The second interview was more tricky. This was a technical interview. I was coding on a web editor while the interviewer was looking at my code. The interviewer was sympathetic, but I was not enough prepared and I failed at this step.
The last interview (that I didn't do) would had been on the linux operating system.
