I only made it through one round of the interview process. The team lead needed a contract employee to help with processing data and mostly just asked about my experience with data analysis and coding.

Tell me about a time where you had to balance multiple competing priorities/tasks.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Started with a recruiter call to discuss my background and role expectations. Then a 45-min technical screen focused on SQL and a short case study—fairly standard, Leetcode easy/medium level. Onsite had 4 loops: SQL-heavy technical skills, analytical execution (business problem-solving), analytical reasoning, and a behavioral. The final round with the hiring manager involved scenario-based high-level problem-solving. Overall the questions included optimizing SQL queries, identifying patterns in datasets (practice as much as you can), and breaking down business problems. Nothing too tricky, but preparation was key. Mock sessions on Prepfully were a big help for understanding analytical and behavioral questions. Took around 4 weeks to get feedback after the final round.
