Interviewed with McDonald’s corporate for the Chicago office. Went through multiple rounds of interviews with one other candidate. After several interviews the senior recruiter ghosted me and then sent a system-generated rejection. I think the minimum standard is that if you talk to a human (three in this process) you deserve a human to contact you for a rejection. Companies need to realize we are customers and now my entire family is boycotting eating at McDonald’s. Treat humans like humans. Do better McDonald’s corporate recruiting team.
