I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Aug 2024
Interview
I applied through employee referral. Got a call the same day and the interview was scheduled for 4 days later. HR told me there will be 3 rounds approx. 1st round was with Assistant manager. It went for 35-40 minutes. In the end I asked the Interviewer if there are any other databases (like Cap IQ) I should know about. She said you already know what we are using and even the desirable power BI. I was not able to give only 1 response which was business news. She asked me to give any 2 recent business news I was only able to give 1 related to budget 2024. I was rejected and the reason stated was lack of general awareness. Rest the profile was 100% aligned to my skills and qualifications. Only this and they rejected me. Quite disheartening.
