I applied online. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX)
Interview
Had 4 interviews. One interview, the manager was out so I had to interview with a director instead. I then went on to the final round and had to do another interview with that same director which made things awkward since we had already conducted an interview. For the final round, I was given a small amount of material prior and had to do a roleplay phone call based on that interview. The roleplay went great, but the final interview part got even more awkward because the director was no longer asking qualifying questions, instead, more personal ones that I guess were important? They asked what the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life (which turned the convo negative), asked about what I do in my personal life to prepare for a days work. Swearing they wanted me to tell them that I meditated and did yoga or something. It was overall a weird experience in that 4th round.

Question 1
What is the hardest thing you’ve ever been through.
Quite simple, 3 stage. Stage 1, phone screening. Stage 2, interview and role play with hiring manager. Stage 3, interview with department heads. Simple process, straightforward questions, mostly relevant to job application
There were multiple but not too difficult or demanding. Mainly want to get to know you as an individual and your soft skills. There was also a research task to show ability
