I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at IDEMIA in Sep 2019
Interview
I applied to a job at IDEMIA. I received a reply from an internal recruiter, and a month or so later they contacted me about a different job. We set up an interview with the "Managers of Software Engineering" later in the week. It wasn't clear from the job description, but the job involved about 50/50 development and support. My interviewer admitted that he was looking for someone with equal proficiency and drive in support and software development, and I admitted that I was not that person. Other details of the job sounded far from ideal, such as the need to be on call to fix things, being paid only a flat rate compensation for a day's overtime, and working with unintelligible government systems that seasoned veterans are still surprised by.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IDEMIA (Franklin, TN) in Oct 2018
Interview
I was contacted after applying by the HR manager to set up an interview. It took about 3 weeks for him to get back to me to set up a time. I came in, and had a 4-round interview. Each round was varying degrees of technical and non-technical. I felt good about the interview, but I never heard back, despite multiple attempts to get an answer.
