I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Londres, Angleterre) in Apr 2014
Interview
The process started with an online application forum (grades, personal and contact info etc) with standard competency and motivational questions. Online numerical test, verbal test and situational judgement test. Next was the telephone interview where standard competency and motivational questions were asked. The final stage was an assessment centre consisting of a 1-1 interview, group analysis exercises and individual report write-up using information from the group exercises to give a recommendation.
The questions were challenging and very difficult. They utilised off the wall thinking and also wanted to see what my response to pressure or dissapointment was. Also they asked questions to see my knowledge and about my work experience.
