I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Londres, Angleterre) in Oct 2021
Interview
I submitted the cv online (without the cover letter, not that I would recommend that). First I passed the assessment. It wasn’t based on knowledge or skills, just the type of personality you are at work. I answered genuinely. Then there was an automated video interview with very generic questions, that were pre recorded. Tell me about yourself, why HSBC, tell me about the time when you went above and beyond for the client. I was stressed and it showed, but I still got to the next stage. It was a live video interview with a branch manager and the regional director. 6 capability questions that you answer with STAR method.
