This was by far the worst interview experience I’ve ever had—completely unprofessional and disrespectful. The interviewer didn’t introduce herself at all, didn’t even say her name, and provided zero context about the role or the team. Throughout the entire interview, she came across as extremely impatient, arrogant, and dismissive. After asking her questions, she didn’t allow any time for Q&A and just hung up the call directly. I honestly can’t believe this is the level of professionalism you’d expect from a senior Google employee. I’ve interviewed with Google before, including with other interviewers and even senior leaders, and those experiences were perfectly fine. But this one was truly shocking—the worst by far. The interviewer was from the Mid-Market GCS maybe Shanghai team, a woman wearing glasses and a hat, with what looked like short hair. Hopefully, others won’t have to go through the same experience.
