Interview
There was a three step application process which involved the online application. A few days later I received an email inviting me to a video interview which only lasted around 30 mins. The interview started a easier asking why I wanted to work for the company and do a summer internship followed by some strengths based questions (my ability to adapt communication style/ sales experience / working with others/ a time where something had gone wrong etc). He explained at the end of the interview I had passed the second stage of the application and he would be in touch to schedule a branch visit. This required another interview with the area manager and interacting with all staff and customers at the branch. They want to see you interacting with staff and customers - ask as many questions as possible, introduce yourself yo everyone you see and shake their hand!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me why you want to work for Enterprise?
Tell me about a time where you resolved conflict in a group scenario
Tell me about a time where you had to manage multiple tasks at once
The stages were:
1) Online application form - this was relatively easy and just to apply.
2) A telephone interview - this was done with one of the recruitment team who asked some initial questions which they describe in the email informing you of the call. It lasted 5 minutes and was relatively informal. They told you over the phone of you made it to the next stage.
3) Zoom interview - This was with the same person who did my phone interview and just went further into detail of what was asked. Sales experience was a key question and even if you don't have it directly how you could apply your current skills to it. They again let me know on this call I was through to the next stage.
4) Interview at the branch - I really liked that they did this as you got to meet the people you would potentially work with, get shown round the office, what you would be working on, how the company works and then have an interview with the regional manager. It was quite informal and they wanted me to ask questions as well as them. The questions they asked were about what I am currently doing, how I could apply myself to the business and my future goals. Showing an interest in cars helped as well.
The process was really good and gave me a clear insight into what I would be doing.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (St. John's, NL) in Mar 2021
Interview
The job interview process serves a twofold purpose of helping an employer determine whether you're qualified for the job you're interviewing for and helping you to decide whether your values and goals align with those of the employer. This process can vary depending on the company and role, with some companies requiring several face-to-face interviews while others can make a decision after one meeting. In this article, we explain the steps of the interview process and tips for doing well in an interview.
