I applied for the position and met all of the hard requirements: engineering undergraduate degree, master's in business administration degree, multiple years of experience of the same role in a parallel industry. technical knowledge of the product line, and I even was targeting the middle of the posted salary range. I was emailed directly by the hiring manager to set up a time to speak. I emailed him several windows of time to meet for the following week. He didn't respond until a week later (after my suggested times were now in the past). I sent him more windows of time and we agreed to discuss the position on the phone. On the morning of the phone call, the time came and he didn't call my phone. I waited for 5 minutes thinking he was running late. I then called his phone and left him a voicemail and asked him to call me back if we was available later. He never called me back. Approximately 5 hours later, I sent him an email and explained I hadn't heard from him after our planned phone interview was missed. He emailed me the following day and apologized for missing the time and asked more dates and times. I provided several more windows for the following week. He didn't respond to my email. I sent a follow up email asking if he would still like to meet. He didn't respond to that email either. I never heard back from him or any other EATON recruiter/human resources employee. It has been 3 months since that encounter and the position is still posted on LinkedIN. I have lost all desire to work for EATON because of this experience.
