I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DLL (Verona, NJ) in Jun 2021
Interview
The interview process that I had with DLL consisted of three rounds of interviews. The first round was an introductory phone interview with a recruiter. The second interview was a virtual interview with the Commercial Development Program Manager. The third and final interview was a virtual interview in which I was interviewed by two well-established DLL employees at the same time. The first round interview was the most casual, and I felt it was mainly to get a feel for the type of person I am as a recent college graduate. The second round interview was more intense and I believe the most vital for me in receiving an offer to join the Commercial development program being that it was run by the head of the program. In the second round, the program manager was asking me situational questions about how I manage and handle customers and sales. The head of the program was really trying to get a feel for my work ethic, strong sales acumen, and eagerness to learn and advance my career in sales. In the third and final round of interviews, I was interviewed by two DLL professionals at the same time. They asked me situational questions about how I overcome objectives and build relationships both internally and externally. In total, I felt that the interview process was challenging at points, but at the same time, I did not feel nervous or stressed once I was talking to the members of DLL. They did a good job of making me feel comfortable but also made sure to ask me questions that gave them a good sense that I was the right candidate for the job.
