I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CNN (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Basic two person interview. They first went over the job responsibilities. They then asked about my qualifications and why I wanted the job. They also asked why I thought I would be good at doing it. They were very friendly but straight forward.

Question 1
Why do you want this job? What is your communications style?
The process took a while for me. I had applied in September and I didn't hear back until December. There's a two-part process to the interview. First, you do a video interview where you answer and record your answers to 20 questions. Then, you'll be contacted by the department in two to three weeks. Every department is different, and they're busy, so it's important to remember that and be patient. The head of the department that you're interested in will contact you and ask you more specific job-related questions. I heard back within two weeks after that.

Question 1
If you could pitch an idea for a story right now, what would it be and why?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CNN (New York, NY) in Jun 2016
Interview
Very casual, just asked about my resume and experiences. Hiring manager was nice and easy to talk to, made you feel comfortable and calm. They want to make sure you have experience doing the different things they ask for in the role description.
