I applied online. I interviewed at CACIB (Londres, Angleterre) in Nov 2018
Interview
After applying I was asked to complete an online aptitude test. A few weeks later I had an interview with two partners who were extremely kind and supporting. I was also told that only four people have made it to that round of interviews and there would be another one later (if the first interview is successful) with HR.
I was later informed hat I have been shortlisted for the job and that the second interview would be soon. But the date for the second interview was never set, and after repeatedly e-mailing and calling them I was just told that the hiring process was suspended because the HR person responsible for this role was out of the office, but I was assured that noone has been hired yet. Later I was informed in an e-mail (between Christmas and NYE) that they have hired someone else and they are not giving any feedback due to the volume of applications, even though only 4 people have made it to the first interview and I must assume the number of people (or person) shortlisted was even less.
Overall, the interview was very nice, but the quality of communication after was unprofessional and not straightforward.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle multiple deadlines at the same time?
Very motivation based, few technicals. Would recommend learning about the culture of the bank as it's owned by farmers + has a non-conventional ownership structure. Otherwise, great process, everyone was very friendly.

Question 1
Why join this team?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I recently had a call with a recruiter that served as a vibe check to understand my background, interests, and alignment with the company culture. During the conversation, the recruiter mentioned that the next step would be an online assessment focusing on Pandas and SQL to evaluate my technical proficiency in data manipulation and querying. Additionally, I was informed about an upcoming hackathon, for which I’ll be invited to participate as part of the selection process. Overall, the discussion was engaging and provided me with a clear understanding of the recruitment timeline and expectations.
Short - not too long , basic introductory ask you what field you want to go into and why that company get given more info on the process and what to expect next , give you a timeline of the next steps and are asked to pick the length of internship
