Booking.com Software Engineer I interview questions

Quite standard interview process, One round hackerrank (you can do it any time you want, 3 questions, 90 mins) One live coding (1 medium question) One live system design (quite easy system)

I have been contacted by the recruiter for the initial screening interview. The interview itself felt like an interrogation - I haven't been told anything about the team or position, just asked about my experience, questions kept coming and coming. In about 20 minutes the interviewer told that my experience is not a fit and I'll struggle in the next stages and wrapped it up. That left me baffled - why contact me in the first place if my experience is not a fit (and my experience was stated in my profile). I've never had such an interview experience before, it felt like I'm on a conveyor belt. That made me really think if I even want to be working for this company.
