Bloomberg Software Engineer interview questions

Average the questions were basic algorithm concepts. But the interviewer wasn't coherent in his description of the problem and the way he wanted it solved. Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms would suffice to get through initial rounds

I applied directly from Bloomberg website. The whole process took about 2+ weeks. I had an email confirming for the technical interview over the phone. My recruiter asked me about my background based on the submitted resume. He had a pretty thick accent and the phone noise made it worse so I could not understand almost 70% of what he was saying. I am still not sure of what he was asking for. I could not answer the two questions he was asking me. Two days later after this technical phone screening, I got a rejection mail which surely is not surprising.
