BlackRock Associate Software Engineer interview questions

had a phone screen, then called in for onsite at SF office. Involved vidoe conferencing with couple of folks in London office and NY office, and 2 ppl at SF office. Most of the questions inovlved were pretty basic - algorithms - searching, hash maps, sql, java and c++. Never called back even after 2 weeks, I kept checking with the HR every week for the next 5 weeks and standard response was "The team hasn't made a decision yet". I had another offer and informed the HR and she said "they don't want to go ahead with your candidacy at this point". I
