I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (Paris) in Feb 2024
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter, had first round with arithmetic questions (20 in total, 20 minutes), then a data science one (17 longer questions for (I think) 50 minutes), which were in-depth theory questions and also some smaller case studies. Didn't proceed after this round.
I applied online. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (Mumbai)
Interview
Applied through their official website. A recruiter contacted me and scheduled the interview. To my surprise, the interviewer turned out to be the Head of the department I had applied to.
Unfortunately, I didn't perform well and felt like I came across as unprepared. At the end of the interview, I asked a simple question: "What's the most difficult or interesting problem you've worked on at BNP?"
His response was, "I don't think any of the problems are big or tough for me." After saying that, he abruptly ended the call.
O screening durou aproximadamente 15 minutos e foram feitas perguntas fáceis e superficiais para entender meu momento profissional. Uma das perguntas foi feita em inglês mas o resto em português de portugal
