American Express Sr. Product Manager Tech. interview questions

2.5 hrs - Onsite Two 1-hour interviews with 2 different 2-person panels Questions were situational/behavioral. While they didn't ask for STAR responses, it's assumed. It was a bit chaotic, as the interviewers weren't 100% familiar with the building. It was a "Phoenix Super Day" event, where they dedicated a different buildings' commons areas for mass interviewing. I personally didn't know this event was happening; I thought I was coming for a typical focused interview. And I had applied to about 18-20 different positions. They said I was there to interview for a specific position, but my interview would also be considered for other positions that I applied to. That made for a bit of a gymnastic exercise in my answers...I didn't want to sound too one-dimensional.
