I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2024
Interview
There was a Hirevue, then a panel interview, then a final round. Overall not too bad! Everyone was friendly. Seems like a great office with great people. Ask good questions and come prepared to say why you want the specific role.
The interview was conducted in a professional yet approachable manner, creating a comfortable environment for open conversation. The interviewer clearly explained the role, responsibilities, and expectations, which helped me better understand the position and how it aligns with my skills and interests. The questions were well-structured and relevant, covering both technical knowledge and situational judgment, allowing me to demonstrate my competencies in different areas.
From a logistical standpoint, the video call platform worked smoothly, and the scheduling process was straightforward. The interviewer remained attentive and responsive throughout, which made the interaction feel engaging rather than transactional.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Express (Campus) in Jul 2025
Interview
I gave an OA today. Test Duration: 60 minutes. Sections: LR/DI/Abstract Reasoning, Numerical Ability & Stats, Coding (ML/Python/SQL). Very hectic. Too many questions, too little time. Lets see if I get a shortlist or not.
