I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process was pretty decent, the total duration from the recruiter reaching out all the way to the offer stages took about 2 months for me. It started with a recruiter call, 1-hour portfolio review, and full day onsite panel with 5 1:1s with designers and PM.

Behavioral questions and questions focusing on my portfolio
I had the first phone screen with the hiring manager who wasn't a designer, then another one with a design manager from a sister team. The "onsite" was a set of 5 1:1 interviews and a portfolio presentation. In one of the interviews there was a 35 min whiteboard challenge. Questions were all around the Leadership Principles.

Interview
Terrible and unnecessarily long. They also don't give you any indication of how you did in the interview. It felt clinical and robotic. The interviewers also seemed very stressed out as if they didn't enjoy working there.
