Very friendly and flew out to Seattle. Four interviews and bar raiser was the hardest. I stumbled on easy questions with him and that impacted the interview overall. Everyone was friendly and courteous.

Question 1
Provide a design for a mobile notification sporting application.
Tedious. Through questions focused on a few different company principles, they all generally boiled down to the same 3 “tell me about a time...x” where x is 1. You did something awesome 2. You helped everyone do something awesome 3. You failed to do something awesome, and what did you learn?
The company has too many overlapping principles that they pretend are unique or special. They over stress them in preparation for the interview and then only touch on ~5 (of 13?). Seems overly prescriptive - curious what the Author Adam Grant would think (read Originals if this seems interesting to you).
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Amazon (Burlington, ON)

1 phone interview followed by 5 onsite interviews over the course of 2 days. 2 system design interviews
