I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Baltimore, MD) in Oct 2020
Interview
The process starts with a phone screen. This is someone that isn't necessarily technical. They get a little background info and then go over a bit about the rest of the process. Since I was interviewing for a developer position, the next step was an online coding challenge. They email you a link and you have to do the challenge in a set time, using the language of your choice. If you are successful in the code challenge, they'll follow back up with phone calls, meetings, interviews, etc. It's all a bit different now with COVID, but they used to fly out out for it, now it's all virtual.
