I applied through other source. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Jul 2022
Interview
Everyone was very friendly.
Coding questions were very easy and they let me pick the language.
The 14-leadership-principles questions had many follow-up questions - for example:
- what have I learned from that?
- what would I do different?
- questions about specific details
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Tell me about the time when you received a negative feedback?
(lots of follow-up questions about details)
Tell me about the time when you found a simple solution to a complex problem?
(follow-up questions about why/how the problem was complex, and about the solution details)
Is there a story you would like to share that you didn't have a chance to mention to any interviewer so far?
(a great opportunity to share another example of how good you are with the 14 leadership principles)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Three leadership principle questions and one coding question. This was just the screening. They spent way too much time in leadership principle questions and just gave 10-15 minutes for the coding question.
