I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process consisted of an initial online assessment with two coding questions focusing on data structures and algorithms. After passing the assessment, I had one virtual interview with a software engineer. The interview included a behavioral section based on Amazon’s Leadership Principles, followed by a technical coding problem. The interviewer was friendly and gave hints when I got stuck. Overall, the process was challenging but fair.

Question 1
I was asked to implement a function to find the first non-repeating character in a string, and then optimize it for time and space complexity. They also asked me how I handle conflicts in a team setting.
It began with an online coding assessment, followed by a quick recruiter check. The final round consisted of two 45-minute technical and behavioral interviews where they tested my problem-solving skills and alignment with Amazon’s Leadership Principles.
