I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Londres, Angleterre) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process at Amazon was thorough and challenging. It started with an initial phone screen focused on behavioral questions and data analytics fundamentals. The second round included technical assessments on SQL, Excel, and problem-solving using real-world data sets. Lastly, I had multiple rounds of interviews with team members and managers, where I was asked to explain complex data analysis, answer hypothetical business problems, and demonstrate proficiency in data visualization tools. Overall, the interview tested both technical skills and Amazon's leadership principles.
It was a fairly standard interview with typical principal-level questions. Prepare well by studying their website in advance, as many questions are based on it. If you face any issues, reviewing prior candidate experiences can provide useful insights and guidance.
Interview felt rushed, they didn't answer any of my questions and I didn't feel like they took me seriously as a candidate. Recruiter didn't do a pre screening with me either.

Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple stages. It began with an online assessment focused on soft skills, workplace scenarios, and decision-making abilities. This was followed by a technical interview that covered data analysis concepts, SQL questions, and knowledge of AWS services. The discussion also included questions about previous experience, problem-solving approaches, and working with data in practical business scenarios.
