I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Amazon (Pune) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of two online technical rounds conducted on the same day over Zoom, with each round lasting approximately one hour. The first interviewer began with a self-introduction, followed by two coding questions focused on Data Structures and Algorithms. I was asked to write code in an online editor without any predefined test cases and was expected to explain my thought process while solving the problems. In addition to coding, the interviewer asked behavioral questions related to teamwork and working under tight deadlines, as well as questions about the architecture and implementation of my Spring Boot project.
The second round was more challenging and included a difficult Binary Tree problem that required discussing the approach before implementation. The interviewer also asked detailed questions about my web development projects, backend architecture, and technical decisions. The round concluded with a few additional behavioral questions. Overall, the interview process emphasized problem-solving ability, communication, and a deep understanding of personal projects.
