I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Herndon, VA) in Sep 2022
Interview
First a recruiter reached out to me via email and asked me several questions to which I responded and after a couple of day called me and asked me questions on Databases, Analytics and Networking. Based on my answers, the recruiter recommended me for Analytics role. Then after a couple of days, they set up a 1-hour technical Phone/Chime interview. The interviewer was impressed and following this, they set up my final interview which is a loop interview. It was a 4-hour interview with 4-6 interviewers. It went well but no offers handed out.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lots of questions on Networking, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, SQL, Linux/Unix and Windows OS with about 10-12 Behavorial questions. I did well on the technical part but couldnt answer some of the Amazon Behavorial questions and some of my answers might not have impressed the interviewers. I assume more focus should be given to the Behavorial questions.
2 main interviews: Phone screen that lasts for one hour and then the loop that lasts for 5 hours with 4 different managers. Interviews were split between technical questions and leadership questions.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
It was not that expected, questions are not related to cloud. Most of the questions on network related, so there is no match for job title and interview questions. Overall attending is 2hrs interview is waste of time.
