I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2022
Interview
coding assessment with 2 coding questions + workstyle survey
4 rounds in virtual onsite a month later - one round with hiring manager and the other three with members of the team.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Chennai) in Jan 2022
Interview
Outrageously bad process
1. Multiple scheduling issues
2. Interviewers lack basic communication skills and for some reason are taking interviews from remote areas with bad connectivity
3. Extremely egoistic while themselves not able to communicate the questions properly
4. Not letting me complete my solution and randomly taunting on why my approach is the worst
PSA : If you were to get a call for interview from Amazon HR (Glassdoor won’t let me give hints on name), please do not apply. Huge Red Flags.
I answered all interview questions correctly as well as their screen programming questions. The only biggest problem I now have with these egoistic maniacs is that they wasted my time.
