Interview
a few months ago my son had a ridiculously complex recruitment process for a role of... a cashier in Aldi. Lost a few weeks, they told him after a 4th assessment: you have 90% of chance to get the job, we are going to call you in a few days to provide more details and after a week he got a message that he is not hired
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Metairie, LA) in Jun 2026
Interview
Initial interview is a group interview with 20 plus people. There is a tour of the store, and an explanation of expectations and company history. There is a short meeting with hiring management for screening for 2nd interview.
Group interview, 7am. Took a brief tour of the store, manager asked questions throughout. Speak up and answer questions during the tour. Then pulled into offices separately for 10-15 minute interviews.
Not difficult at all. There is a two step interview process where the first one you meet with the manager and the second you meet with the general district manager.
