AIG wasted 2 months of my time. I did a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview. Then a few weeks later I did a panel interview which lasted 3 hours. The fun was just getting started. I then went to another state to interview with yet another manager. A couple weeks later the manager called to say I would be receiving an offer shortly. Then I got a call from HR quizzing me about my previous employment, as one firm that I worked for 9 years ago was no longer in business. I was told to dig up W2s and fax them to her, which I did. Then a week later I was told that my driving record was unacceptable, and I wouldn't be receiving an offer. I have no points on my license, no speeding tickets, but I was in 2 car accidents in 10 years. One was my fault, the other I was rear-ended. I was jerked around for another 3 weeks while they looked into it, then I got a screw you letter in the mail.
