Pros

Training was good, they give you a mix of hands on and classroom training. Sometimes both in the same day. Which is a huge inconvenience and unrealistic to actual field work, you don't show up to a field office, well-site, or workshop in nice dress shoes then jump in work boots and greasy coveralls everyday.

Cons

They do not give you grades for the classes that you take, so you have no idea if you are even doing the work correctly. You could be doing it completely wrong and no one will tell you. It is as if they are secretly trying to weed you out.

Pros

Great benefit's! Good pay! Lot's of opportunities for advancement!

Cons

To Many People in upper Management! That are not in Touch with the real issues! I worked for the Company that weatherford had purchased and we were a very profitable business until Weatherford came along with all there overpaid under worked employee's ! They did not have a good reputation in the Wireline Field! So they brought a lot of Sorry work ethics type people with them.

Pros

Absolutely some of the best co-workers and colleagues one could ever want!!! Pretty nice place to work if not affected by interoffice politics. Pay is ok...but other companies pay 15-20% more for the same role. However, I would sacrifice the pay to work with my colleagues

Cons

Very poor management and pointless middle/sub-management or supervisors. WFT has been financially unstable for a long time. Laying off the money-makers and workers hasn't help...why not try the opposite. Lets get rid of CEO's, VP's, and others that are making the bad decisions! In addition to corrupt management...there is absolutely no training worth anything. It's a "learn as you go" process with little support?
