Pros

- Free food - 20% Discount for family and friends - Fresh orange chicken tastes good - That's about it.

Cons

- Cannot for the life of me understand my manager's accent - Senior management does not act professional - Work the hardest out of my coworkers for NO raise - Cross training proves to be stressful, it's hard to clean a table while helping someone at a cash register - Manager always yelling at me to do something when I'm clearly already doing something - Disrespectful staff & no positive feedback for a job well done - Manager does not ASK me to do something, he TELLS me... Which is a lot to ask for $8.25 an hour. - Absolutely no respect for employees. - Stressful opening and closing procedures, lots to remember without a given list, then get yelled at for forgetting something

Pros

Working at panda has been such a good experience for me, after only a month of working there i got a raise to $10 and am now person in charge of my shift, and soon starting training to be assistant manager (AND i'm not asian (; ) . It's a great college job! Besides that, you always get free food. It's not something you get tired of either, because of the variety of chickens, beefs, veggies, etc. you have to work hard in order to get raises, they're not just handed to you. the more you cross train, the higher chance you have of getting promoted, and having a higher salary. so if you don't like to work hard, or go above and beyond expect to stay at theh position you're at, with the same pay.

Cons

i work alot! most panda's could hire one or two more people. working 35 hours, plus going to college full time is nooooot easy. alot of workers at panda do not speak english fluently, if you get hired, and are being trained it is SO hard to understand them. Customers also have hard time understanding...

Pros

Started off at $9.25 an hour, minimum is $8.80, only been working a month and about to get a raise to $9.75. Never have paid for food from Panda since I started working, I get enough to make me sick for free. I love all of the people I work with, very friendly manager and staff.

Cons

You will have no life. Especially if you're in school. I get schedualled for about 36 hours a week (not including all the times I get called in, or asked to stay late), and its tough balencing homework and Panda.. and you can forget about your social life too. It's all sorta worth it in the end though when you get a nice fatty paycheck.
