Poor management. Communication is a joke, can be very mocking, or just completely lacking. Matters are handled with sales staff too often insensitively and carelessly. Sales staff often feel disregarded and looked down upon, especially when there is a culture of favouritism and elitism. There is a general sense of the work ethic, environment and management conduct being detrimental to mental health among staff. Very little to no progress opportunities for very deserving staff members already in the shop.

The management was very unprofessional, actively pulling people off the shop floor to shout at them and always praising their favourites. There was extreme pressure to upsell and be happy 24/7 which can become very mentally draining. Christmas was awful, there was no space to even breathe and so much pressure from management with little or no praise for making it through the busiest days of the year. The atmosphere felt very 'catty' at times with many managers acting like schoolgirls.
