      Great place to make money bad place for good work

      Pros

      ESOPs, Onsite oppurtunities where you can save lots of money. It is a nice place to travel around the world for long term oppurtunities. The top management is very good and ethical people. The company has very good employee policies and they respect the employees a lot. Ofcourse, there are some crap which has creeped in and that needs some cleaning from the management. It is a great organisation to work for as a whole. When you go out of the country, you are recongnised as a very good person since the company has put a good base accross the world.,

      Cons

      No good work. Working offshore is highly pressurised and lots of dirty politics.

      Pros

      Growth opportunities for ambitious employees. Onsite opportunities. Democratic organisation.

      Cons

      Employess at onsite struggle pretty much on their own. Since the reins of delivery are at offshore, they dont have good insight into the kind of effort being put at onsite. Although we say we are a global organisation, lot of the investment in terms of training, events happens in Bangalore.Quality of freshers has decreased over the past couple of years. The only thing they have in mind is to be located onsite. HR is not very helpful. Gives answers such as 'I am also facing the same problem'. No benefits other than the fixed+variable salaries. Policies are a secret.

      Pros

      Infosys has a good reputation in India and abroad. They are known for their ethics and I agree that this culture is still quite strong in the upper management. We can enjoy very good teaming in the company

      Cons

      Incompetent middle management will cost the company in future Salary strurture is very very complex
