Great with employees and stable business (boring, but in a good sense)

Pros

- Friendly, humble, down-to-earth culture - Good compensation vs market - Culturally diverse teams at Group level - Respectful of work-life balance / 44 paid leave days per year - Up to 3 WFH days per week - Great offices in Paris/La Défense - Stable work environment, many colleagues have worked >10 years at AXA - Stable business model, Group strategy makes sense

Cons

Specific to Group compliance: - Corporate politics everywhere, can be difficult to get work done - Weak Group vs powerful autonomous entities, sometimes difficult to get entities on board - Lack of compliance culture / tone from the top not fully there yet General: May seem minor, but better laptops/iphones would be a welcome improvement. The old HP laptops were fine before COVID, but with WFH becoming the norm, better tech should be provided to all employees.
