The Supervisory IT (information technology) Specialist supervises and manages Customer Engagement team, providing leadership for daily operations, team performance, and mid- to long-term strategic planning.
Serves as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in their area of responsibility, providing expert-level oversight and technical guidance on service integration, system dependencies, and end-user impact.
Advises DT leadership on Mission-wide Diplomatic Technology (DT) operations, policies, and resource planning, collaborating closely to shape strategic direction, address cross-functional challenges, and drive operational improvements.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five (5) years of experience overseeing computer networking operations in a large or complex technical environment, including responsibility for systems or network administration and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise-level infrastructure, is required.
In addition, a minimum of one (1) year of experience leading teams of IT professionals and managing IT projects is required.
EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering is required.
Option 2
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of seven (7) years of experience overseeing computer networking operations in a large or complex technical environment, including responsibility for systems or network administration and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise-level infrastructure, is required.
In addition, a minimum of one (1) year of experience leading teams of IT professionals and managing IT projects is required.
EDUCATION: At least two (2) years college or university studies is required.

SALARY: the annual gross salary includes: the profit-sharing allowance, the vacation allowance, the bonus allowance and the “Comité d’Entreprise” allowance.
MEAL TICKETS: Meal tickets have a face value of EUR 8.25/day. 60% of the daily amount is paid by the U.S. Government. An employee contribution of EUR 3.30 per ticket will be deducted in payroll. The number of meal tickets is limited to 202 workdays per year.
TRANSPORTATION: Employees are eligible for a reimbursement of 50% of the cost of public transportation passes purchased for commuting purposes.
HOLIDAYS: The U.S. Missions in France observe eleven U.S. holidays per year and up to ten French holidays.
