I think it was the most unpleasant experience for me. First of all, it took an inadequate amount of time. I applied for the program in the middle of August and was only able to hear back from the company for the first time 2 months after! They scheduled an interview with me for a week later. Then I also found the process very inconsistent. Because as I applied for the program, I had to complete right away online assessments which included behavioral questions plus on-demand video interview where you had 3 questions to answer. That one was not hard as you had unlimited time to think on answers and also re-record your answers as much as you’d like. The website stated that should you pass this stage, you will be invited for the last interview with two professionals. So. 2 months after a receive an invitation to an online interview. It got me all confused. The email clearly stated that it was going to be a “get to know you” interview which does not seem like a final one. However, when the interview started, I received very deep technical questions regarding the processes and so on. I couldn’t answer them which is obviously my bad. However, I also find it unfair because I was not even preparing for the technical interview as it clearly stated something else. During the interview the interviewers also confirmed that it was not going to be the last round. I cannot even imagine what questions would be in the last round if they already had hard enough questions for that interview.

Shell’s interview process usually begins with online assessments and progresses to a Final Assessment, which includes a business case study presentation and a behavioral interview. The interview process focses on behavioral assessments and technical screenings. Candidates are tested on the "CAR" method, focusing on safety, leadership, and on job competence through structured and in depth questions.
The first round is a recorded video interview. You need to record some videos based on their questions. There were 3 questions or me, which is not very unique. About your project, your interest in Shell.
