      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Dec 2008

      Interview

First of all, they were desperate. I went to a job fair and after talking to one developer for 15 minutes, I left as it was the end of the day. I received a phone call from the hiring manager within 10 minutes and was told I had the job. Then I was passed to someone else for salary negotiations. The lady in charge of hiring had no real knowledge of the position or the contract and could could not answer any questions about the benefits. They finally let me talk to someone in human resources to find out more about the health benefits. The whole process was the most unorganized mess I have ever seen. The company is so large that no one has more than a bit of information. The amount of people and phone calls I had to go through to get what I consider basic information about the position and benefits were unbelievable. So bad, that I almost did not take the position. I will say that the people that have been interviewed since I came on, undergo a bit more intense interview process, but not much more... The positions they are looking for on my site are hard to fill, so they are not being super picky. Also, had to take a drug test and an extremely lengthy application that took me days to fill out. They run an intensive background and credit check, do not lie or leave out information on the application. You have to list everything, inlcuding places you may have only lived for a few months. The whole process was exhausting.

      Application

I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Sunnyvale, CA)

      Interview

Pretty generic behaviorally. They don't test too much on technical, but tbh the process is completely different across teams. Just know your resume well and some technical basics, and I feel like you should be okay. Obviously have to know more as you level up, but interviewing here isn't like doing algorithms, just know your tech stack and resume well and all the technical questions they could ask you about it and you should be good.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Oklahoma City, OK) in Jul 2015

      Interview

I applied through the website months ago. Finally received a call back the day I had received an offer from another company. I explained that I was prepared to accept the other offer, but their representative asked me to delay my response, so I did. The next day I spent a few hours filling out more online applications and on the following day got a call to set up an interview the following week. This was apparently very expedited due to my circumstances. The interview itself was fairly straight forward. The program manager, regional manager, and a senior programmer were present. They explained the scope of the immediate project, how the contract was organized, and what it's like to work there. The programmer asked a few basic C questions: basic enough that anyone with a solid basis shouldn't have difficulty answering, but I think a beginner would have stumbled a bit.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Hanover, MD) in Apr 2014

      Interview

Was contacted by the hiring manager after submitting my resume. The hiring manager set up an interview with one of the technical leads on the program that I was applying for. The interview was scheduled for the following week. When I arrived for the interview, I first met the hiring manager, who then passed me on to the technical lead for the actual interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

During the interview the technical lead first wanted me to explain what it is that I was doing at my current position. I explained which technologies I was using in my current position. Since I was doing a lot of Java and Web Application development, I was very detailed about what our software and web applications were. This essentially led to a discussion back and forth as the pros and cons certain COTS products, programming languages, and platforms. This conversation seemed to let the interviewer know my expertise level.
