In short, my time was not respected in the least. I had spent quite a long while studying for their specific interview, and I had passed the first interview fine. The second interview was given 4 months later and giving me a one week window. By then I had forgotten all the material as I had started working on my own personal stuff, thinking the job was rejected.
When I was given the interview, I had forgotten some syntax, and simply put, even though I could tell them exactly how the process was on paper, because I didn't know the language by heart, I couldn't answer without googling something that would take approximately 20 seconds. If that is something that can flunk an interview, I don't think they know what to prioritize when looking for talent.
