I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY)
Interview
Phone Interview as first step and following questions for screening purposes. Starting with the questions to understand the past experience. It is important to check the reason behind the application to Bloomberg.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Angleterre) in Nov 2022
Interview
Very transparent. I knew from the start how many rounds there would be and who would be in them. Scheduling was straightforward also and people were challenging but fair in the questions they asked.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They wanted to know if I truly wanted to work for the company.
The interview process took around 3 weeks. They ask questions not relating to the job description which make sense because the job description is very vague. They ask a lot of questions to get a sense of your background but they are not good at articulating what exactly your role is going to pertain to. For example, the role is focused on building meta-models but they will speak about redesigning the UI. Good thing is that if they are not interested you get rejected pretty quickly. They give you a chance to ask questions but again you don't really get a sense of what you will be doing.
